Matt Hines is a professional Filmmaker, Photographer and Editor whose work spans across a wide range of content styles. He has traveled the world filming brand videos, documentaries, commercials and limited series for companies like Patagonia, Tastemade, REI, NetJets, Four Seasons, TGR, Brain Farm, Red Bull, Sitka Gear and much more. Matt’s love for storytelling started as a youth with his dads clunky VCR camera and has propelled him to extract these stories to emotional works seen through his lens. It’s been his discovery of self that has allowed him to take the creative and bring it to life for every client he has worked with. There is much more than just being able to take a camera and capture what is needed, there needs to be personality, empathy, curiousity and most of all a genuine sense of honesty that acts as the fuel to a good experience on and off set and makes the production both enjoyable and smooth flowing. His ethos is, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” a quote from an African proverb that has directed Matt’s life to work not only work well with others in production but how to achieve success amongst friends, family, clients and relationships alike. It’s why Matt’s outlook and views on life is part of the package that people get when working alongside him.
